    • C’est dans la pratique de la matière que l’homme s’épanouit.

      L’idée générale de cette recherche est de défendre une pratique douce du graphisme. Une posture de «graphiste-artisan» qui consacre du temps à la création, qui travaille la matière et qui questionne les différents outils du graphisme pour en tirer le meilleur. En opposition à la société de consomation et à la production de masse qui tendent à effacer les travaux manuels, le graphiste-artisan se veut le défenseur de savoir-faire et le passeur de valeurs telles que : l’application dans le travail et l’implication du corps et de l’esprit dans la création. L’idée n’est pas de s’opposer à la numérisation de la profession, mais plutôt de questionner la place des nouvelles technologies afin de les inclure dans une démarche positive d’épanouissement par les pratiques du graphisme.

      The general idea of ​​this research is to defend an other practice of graphic design. A posture of «graphic-designer-craftsman» who devotes time to creation, works with the material and questions the different graphic design tools to get the best out of them. It is the opposite of the consumer society and mass production which tend to erase manual work. A society in which, the graphic designer-craftsman, has to be the defender of knowledges and the protector of way of thinking ​​such as: the dedication in the work and the involvement of body and mind in creation. Far from the idea to be against the digital tools, this research rather wants to question the place of new technologies in work, in order to include them positively in the graphic design process.
