    • Nous allons tout d’abord évoqué le contexte de ce que j’imagine quand je pense «Tiny house». Pour moi
      évoquer ces mots est synonyme d’aventures, de se jeter dans l’inconnu et de se détacher d’un mode de vie
      qui aujourd’hui est régit par une forte industrialisation, une forte consommation et n’emportait qu’avec soi le
      strict nécéssaire tout en respectant et préservant la nature. Je me souviens encore des cours d’histoire que je
      suivais au primaire et au collège, ou l’on m’a appris que l’homme (préhistorique) était chasseur-cueilleur mais
      aussi nomade, et de par conséquent était avide d’exploration ; d’explorer, de s’aventurer dans le monde dans
      lequel il vivait. Mais plus le temps passa, et plus l’Homme s’était instruit, ce qui le conduisit à changer petit
      à petit son mode de vie pour quelque chose de sédentaire. De nos jours, en raison de notre sédentarisation, le
      monde dans lequel nous vivons nous est inconnu. Pourtant il ne nous est pas familier de croiser des voyageurs,
      randonneur, en proie au désir de découvrir le monde, d’exploration .. Pour ne citer qu’eux, bien que ce soit leur
      «métier», les forains sillonnant les villes ne pourraient se résoudre au sédentarisme.
      L’homme ressent-il le besoin d’un retour à cette vie
      nomade, pourtant tant controversée depuis des siècles et encore aujourd’hui ?

    • Why the tiny house?
      Firstly, to answer an issue that has taken more and more importance since these last years: indeed our lifestyle
      based on consumption but also on real estate is becoming more and more expensive. As an alternative to these
      problems, we have the tiny house: an ecological and responsible way of living based on the essentials.
      My ambition would be to make housing as functional as ergonomic and aesthetic for all, but also to change
      the habits of our consumerist way of life. The tiny house movement is already very active in the United States,
      but is not well known in France. This is why I would like to see this movement become mainstream in France.
      To achieve this, I will build them like an architect’s house. Indeed, the few tiny houses that can be found
      in France are sold according to plans and therefore all look alike, whereas mine will be unique. First of all
      because they will be made with a method which comes from Japan which consists in building buildings wit�hout nails, screws or glue but by interlocking. Moreover, the interior of these houses will be entirely modular
      because we can install partition walls thanks to a rail system. This allows us to shape our interior as we wish.
      The result of this work is that despite a rather small structure, the feeling of oppression will not be felt because
      the tiny houses will be entirely modular and thus each one will be able to create its house with its taste. Also,
      those interested will be able to benefit from the work of a professional architect at a lower cost than a traditio�nal house which would cost much more. A point not to be forgotten is that of a new way of life, indeed people
      are in direct contact with nature and can discover new places whenever they want. Finally, beyond a new way
      of life, tiny houses are a small step for mankind but a big step for the planet.
