Ce mémoire consiste en une recherche autour de la Trilogie des Ferrailleurs écrite par Edward Carey, à travers le prisme de son usage de l’Ere Victorienne. L’analyse englobe l’utilisation de la période Victorienne par l’auteur (d’un point de vue historique et social) ses références culturelles ainsi que le genre Néo-Victorien dans le cas précis de ces trois romans.

This research paper is an inquiry about the Iremonger Trilogy by Edward Carey through the scope of his use of a Victorian setting. The analysis includes the author’s use of the Victorian Era from a historical and social point of view, his cultural references, and a study of the Neo-Victorian genre applied to the Iremonger Novels.
