    • Ce projet portant sur la qualification, spatialisation et publication des cartes et dessins techniques géosciences Total vise un but principal : capitaliser ces documents en les qualifiant via des attributs et en les spatialisant dans la base de données patrimoniale INFOMAP. Ce, pour permettre à l’ensemble des utilisateurs potentiels de pouvoir les retrouver et les visualiser via plusieurs solutions, principalement via le portail de recherche interne à Total Eureka. Pour mener à bien cet objectif, nous avons procédé par une méthodologie centrée sur l’analyse et la compréhension du sujet et des besoins, le recensement des outils logiciels nécessaires, la prise en main de ceux disponibles et la conception d’autres jugés indispensables pour l’avancement du projet, la définition d’un calendrier d’avancement des principales phases du projet. L’outil d’assurance et de contrôle de la qualité des données (QA/QC), le logiciel de gestion électroniques de documents techniques (ProjectWise), le FME Workbench (conçu) pour le matching automatique et la récupération d’attributs dans l’optique de faciliter la publication des documents stockés dans la base de données patrimoniale Infomap via le moteur et portail de recherche Eureka ; sont les principales solutions et outils logiciels qui ont permi d’atteindre les objectifs. Les résultats sont évocateurs ; car une bonne partie des cartes et documents techniques géosciences (environs 12000) précédemment disséminés dans des espaces structurés ou non structurés, sont désormais capitalisés, spatialisés dans la base INFOMAP et seront très bientôt mise à disposition du public Total sur Eureka pour des fins de projets éventuels ou d’aide à la prise de décision. Le mapping de la base et les spécifications fonctionnelles pour l’intégration de cette BDD dans ledit portail ont été réalisés dans le cadre de ce stage.

    • This project entitled “qualification, spatialization and publication of Total’s geoscience maps and technical drowing” concern one main goal: capitalize these documents by qualifying them with attributes and spatializing them in the Infomap patrimonial data base. This allows all potential users to search, retrieve and visualize them in various ways, but manly via the company research portal called Eureka. To carry out this mission, I adopted a methodology based on understanding of subject and needs analysis; the identification of necessary software tools, the familiarization of those which are already available and the conception of others judged important to the advancement of the project; and the definition of principal project phase scheduling. The data quality control and quality assurance tools (QA/QC), the technical document electronic management tools (ProjectWise), the FME Workbench part developed for automatic matching of spatial attributes to facilitate the publication of documents stored inside the Infomap data base using Eureka search engine, are the main software tools and solutions allowing us to attain objectives which were fixed. The results are significant ; because of the fact that a big part of technical geosciences drawings and documents (more than 12000) previously disseminated inside structured and non-structured spaces, sometime unusable, are now capitalized, spatialized inside Infomap and will be made available in Eureka for all Total employees. This will help them in their future projects and will facilitate much decision making in the company. The mapping of data base and the functional specifications destined for Infomap integration on Eureka were carried out as part of this mission.
