    • Loin de penser que seul le sujet serait à l’origine de sa conduite, ce serait plutôt autrui, l’autre ou les autres qui seraient à l’origine de la possibilité d’une conduite éthique authentique et même de la possibilité d’une vie éthique réelle. Ces apports extérieurs (normes morales, sociales, lois) via l’éducation morale et le regard d’autrui porté sur nos actions , ces « contraintes » devenues comme une seconde nature seraient donc paradoxalement ce qui favoriserait cette authenticité de la relation, cette vérité de la relation, au regard de cette « vérité intérieure » éprouvée par le réel et la "concrétude" d’autrui. Il ne s’agirait pas ici de jauger de l’authenticité de la moralité de quelqu’un par rapport seulement aux effets de ses actions dans le monde et sur autrui mais bien plutôt à cette coïncidence entre une volonté tournée vers le bien, prenant en compte la singularité d’autrui et les exigences du réel - sans légalisme moral trop strict et dénué d’humanité.

It would not be a question here of gauging the authenticity of someone's morality in relation only to the effects of his actions in the world and on others, but rather to this coincidence between a will turned towards the good, taking into account the singularity of others and the demands of reality - without too strict moral legalism and devoid of humanity.
