    • Depuis le vote du Brexit en 2016, la position de l'Irlande du Nord au sein du Royaume-Uni est sujet à tensions et instabilités. Le peuple nord-irlandais est divisé en deux communautés dont l'identité s'oppose et s'affrontent chaque jour dans l'espace public : les protestants d'un côté et les catholiques de l'autre. L'histoire conflictuelle du pays ainsi que les nouvelles politiques post-Brexit en cours rendent le terrain difficile d'accès. 2022 a été une année charnière pour l'Irlande du Nord : le résultat des élections de mai 2022 associé aux résultats du recensement font écho à la guerre civile que le pays a traversé, les Troubles. 2023 s'est inscrite en continuité avec ces évènements : 2022 ayant symboliquement été une victoire pour la communauté catholique, la communauté protestante s'est donc saisi des négociations post-Brexit pour faire barrage à cette victoire. Ce mémoire a pour objectif de revenir sur tous ces évènements et d'analyser l'impact qu'ils ont eu sur la vie des irlandais du nord.
    • Since the Brexit vote in 2016, Northern Ireland's position within the United Kingdom has been subject to tensions and instabilities The people of Northern Ireland are divided into two communities with opposing identities that clash every day in the public sphere: Protestants on one side and Catholics on the other. The country's history of conflict and the new post-Brexit policies under way, makes the field difficult to access. 2022 was a turning point for Northern Ireland: the result of the May 2022 elections, combined with the census results, echoed the civil war that the country went through, the Troubles. The year 2023 was a continuation of these events: 2022 had symbolically been a victory for the Catholic community, so the Protestant community took advantage of the post-Brexit negotiations to block this victory. The aim of this report is to look back at all these events and analyse the impact they have had on the lives of the people of Northern Ireland.
