    • En Europe, une nouvelle approche de la préservation de la biodiversité émanant du concept
      de wilderness, commence à faire ses preuves. Le rewilding est une mesure innovante de
      restauration écologique afin de garantir la fonctionnalité des écosystèmes. De plus, cette stratégie
      résiliente et autosuffisante s’adapte aux contextes socioculturels variés du territoire européen grâce
      à l’action des ONGS environnementales. En effet, ce continent particulier doit réapprendre à vivre
      avec le vivant. Alors, les projets de rewilding soutenus par les ONGS, tentent de faire cohabiter
      humains et non-humains en transformant les pratiques et les relations des populations avec la
      nature sauvage. Pour accompagner ces changements, les ONGS ont développé de nombreuses
      stratégies pour influencer les politiques européennes de biodiversité. Au fil du temps, les
      institutions européennes ont commencé à considérer cette approche inclusive. Notamment, à
      travers le réseau écologique Natura 2000, dans le but de créer une Europe diversifiée et connectée.
      Le rewilding, expérimenté dans les sites Natura 2000, prouve son efficacité en combinant
      préservation écologique et bénéfices socio-économiques. Ainsi, l'Union Européenne devient un
      acteur majeur de la lutte contre la perte de biodiversité et promeut une gestion collaborative afin
      de créer un nouveau paradigme européen.
    • In Europe, a new approach to biodiversity preservation stemming from the concept of
      wilderness is beginning to show its effectiveness. Rewilding is an innovative ecological restoration
      measure aimed at ensuring the functionality of ecosystems. Moreover, this resilient and selfsufficient strategy adapts to the diverse sociocultural contexts of the European territory through
      the actions of environmental NGOs. Indeed, this particular continent must relearn how to live
      alongside the living world. Therefore, rewilding projects supported by NGOs strive to foster
      coexistence between humans and non-humans by transforming the practices and relationships of
      populations with the wild nature. To support these changes, NGOs have developed numerous
      strategies to influence European biodiversity policies. Over time, European institutions have begun
      to consider this inclusive approach. Notably, through the Natura 2000 ecological network, aiming
      to create a diverse and connected Europe. Rewilding, experimented within Natura 2000 sites,
      demonstrates its effectiveness by combining ecological preservation with socio-economic benefits.
      Thus, the European Union is becoming a major player in the fight against biodiversity loss and
      promotes collaborative management to create a new European paradigm.
