    • Ce mémoire explore l’importance de la médiation culturelle dans les projets de valorisation patrimoniale des services d’archives. Il souligne que bien que les archivistes aient une connaissance approfondie des fonds d’archives, ils ne sont pas toujours formés à la médiation culturelle, ce qui peut limiter l’impact de leurs actions de valorisation. L’intégration d’un professionnel spécialisé dans la médiation culturelle peut transformer radicalement un projet de valorisation patrimoniale, en rendant le patrimoine plus accessible, attrayant et compréhensible tout en respectant les standards scientifiques. Le mémoire vise à contribuer à la réflexion sur les pratiques professionnelles des services d’archives et à souligner l’importance de la médiation culturelle dans les projets de valorisation. Il est basé sur une approche qualitative, comprenant une étude bibliographique et des entretiens avec des professionnels des services d’archives et de médiateurs culturels de formations tels que madame Stéphanie Corso des Archives départementales du Tarn, monsieur Maxence Philippe des Archives départementales du Calvados.
    • This thesis explores the importance of cultural mediation in heritage valorization projects within archival services. It highlights that while archivists have an in-depth knowledge of archival collections, they are not always trained in cultural mediation, which can limit the impact of their valorization efforts. Integrating a specialized professional in cultural mediation can radically transform a heritage valorization project by making heritage more accessible, appealing, and understandable while respecting scientific standards. The thesis aims to contribute to the reflection on professional practices within archival services and to emphasize the importance of cultural mediation in valorization projects. It is based on a qualitative approach, including a literature review and interviews with professionals from archival services and trained cultural mediators, such as Ms. Stéphanie Corso from the Departmental Archives of Tarn, and Mr. Maxence Philippe from the Departmental Archives of Calvados.
