J’ai choisi ce sujet de mémoire car je suis passionnée de théâtre depuis quelques années, que ce soit en tant que comédienne, ou que ce soit en tant que réflexion scénographique.
Ce mémoire traite des décors de théâtre, et plus particulièrement des décors en mouvement. A travers ce sujet, nous allons explorer la force artistique et narrative du mouvement par le vecteur de la couleur, la lumière et la matière dans la scénographie théâtrale.
J’ai commencé par faire des recherches théoriques, notamment sur l’Histoire du théâtre, puis j’ai analysé certaines nouvelles technologies et pièces de théâtre pour constituer la partie plus artistique et analytique à mon mémoire.
Ce travail de mémoire met en lumière la magie de la scénographie théâtrale et de la mobilité du décor. Le mouvement est un outil merveilleux permettant une liberté artistique, en faisant voyager les spectateurs dans leur imaginaire et ouvrant
leurs yeux sur notre monde.
Le décor en mouvement peut être difficile à appréhender et à apprivoiser, mais s’approprier le mouvement c’est s’approprier soi tout en véhiculant sa propre sensibilité au monde qui nous entoure.

Résumé

I chose this thesis topic because I have been passionate about theatre for several years, both as an actor and through scenographic reflection.
This thesis focuses on stage design, and more specifically on moving sets. Through this topic, we will explore the artistic and narrative power of movement through the mediums of color, light, and material in theatrical scenography.
I began by conducting theoretical research, particularly on the history of theatre, and then analyzed certain new technologies and theatre productions to build a more artistic and analytical part of my thesis.
This thesis highlights the magic of theatrical scenography and the mobility of stage sets. Movement is a wonderful tool that allows for artistic freedom, transporting audiences through their imagination and opening their eyes to our world.
Moving scenery can be challenging to understand and master, but to embrace movement is to embrace oneself, expressing one’s own sensitivity to the world around us.
